For those of you not familiar, there was a triple homicide in West Memphis Arkansas in 1993 of 3 young boys. I won't go into details, but there are 2 very very good documentaries about the crime called Paradise Lost and Paradise Lost 2. 3 teenage boys were convicted. 1 is on death row about to be executed, and the other 2 got life sentences. There is controversy over whether the teenagers did it, "Mr. Bojangles", or even if some of the parents of the 3 children where involved.

These are possibly 2 of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Highly recommended. I'm also interested in your thoughts on the case. Irish mostly believes the teenagers did it, but admits the evidence doesn't exist. I lean towards "Mr. Bojangles", but also haven't ruled out Terry Hobbs who is one of the boys step father. He was never interviewed, lied about seeing the kids the day of the murder, and also cleaned all the sheets and curtains in the house the day of the murders. Who cleans their curtains?

Anyhoo, let me know what you think if you have seen the docs.

I watched both of these as well and they are top 10 docs, its not so much the doc it self but the people involved in the crime are just epic....Damn good stories that to this day it is hard to come to a guilty or not guilty conclusion on the boys...

These guys are heavily backed by the liberal Hollywood types, Johnny Depp, Dixie Chicks, Eddie Veder , etc...etc.... All of these people believe the kids got fucked, but you have to watch the doc yourself and come to your own conclusion, I personally think the guy on the cover is Dahmer reincarnate....

But yeah like Red said, if you havent seen them its a must watch...

Was there a story on "48 hours Mystery" with Johnny Depp about this case? When I was in Florida I saw a brief commercial for an episode of 48 hours mystery that featured Johnny Depp fighting on someone's behalf. Just curious if it is the same case.

Damn I wanted to see that episode of 48 hours mystery but I think these docs will be way better. My wife and I enjoy watching 48 hours mystery because they are real stories and she messaged me when that one came on but I couldn't find it. Looking forward to seeing these now.
