I just saw kotaku's report on talk of a new slim line xbox 360. I think I'd be in for trading in one of my 360's for the new slim one as long as they are no more than 300us. They have redesigned the internals they have combined the cpu and gpu so that there is only one chip to cool and they look to have placed a fan directly on the heatsink the same as a pc design which they should have done in the first place

I'm with Trans on slim 360. Seems like a way to get to RROD in half the time.
I agree with Zoid on Natal or Kinetic. Booo. Wii is garbage because of the motion controls. Even some Wii lovers on here would HAVE to agree that trying to move the mouse pointer with those things is a 100% beating. Motion controls sound really good on paper, but have little substance in gaming.

I'm at least reserving judgment on Natal/Kinect until I get a better idea of what devs are going to do with it. If it's all Wii party games, I'll skip it. Though I'm interested to see if they can make a control scheme that uses the controller, then the camera on top of it to add extra motion control functions. Could be cool if done right, but I'll wait for the games to come out to convince me before I buy it, if the price is right, of course.

I'm writing it off as garbage before it releases. I've played the Wii which arguably perfected it as much as it can be. It's fail. Plain and simple.
