Go read the MilkCraft on the old site. I don't want to retype all that shit and it kinda deals with what was said over there. Would make a lot of sense if I copied/pasted it here.

I gave you some tips on how to start boostin.
Ok, I locked the topic on the old site to force people to use this one.

@ Baud: You are right, specing solely as a healer is going to make leveling a rough go for you. You have a couple of options, respec for something more damage dealing until you get around level 30 or so, then we can pick you up and you can respec for healer again. Your first respec only costs a silver I think, your second will cost 1 gold, and I think the third is 10 gold. So this would cost you 1 gold 1 silver to do this plan.

Second option is you are going to have to find a couple of friends, us or randoms, and have them group up with you and care bear you through instances and quests to get you leveled. You will be relying heavily on the kindness of others. I don't mind helping you, but your stuff is so far below my level that I won't be making any progress what so ever on my character. Others will need to fill in the gaps when I need to go beast some shit myself.
On second thought Baud, you are only level 14 or so, don't spend the money to respec. Not going to make much of a difference. Go ahead and just start putting talent points in your feral or whatever damage dealing tree you have and go from there. No point in respecing only 5 talent points.
When you get around level 30 and can really heal well and make a difference, then we may look into respecing you for healing.

Also, horde all the gold you possibly can. I'm not sure what level you have to be, but you eventually get to have 2 specs. It cost's 1000 gold, but then you can bounce back and forth between 2 different specs. So you would have a damage spec for leveling and a healing spec for running instances with us. I'm currently saving my gold as we speak. I'm over 500.

Plus there really is no point to buying weapons or armor on the AH. You will most times find better shit as drops as long as you are running instances fairly often. I have never bought any armor or weapons off the AH. I did spend 35 gold last night on some Glyphs that were worth while, but that other shit you will get with just playing the game.

SAVE GOLD!
(*shakes head in disgust*)
I got some armor from vendors early on, but anymore, I get most of my equipment from quests and drops.
Also, while I'm speced to tank, I do some decent DPS just with my warrior abilities (I usually train all of them because I figure I'll need them sooner or later). So if we run instances we can have one of the higher level guys be the main tank and I'll focus on a little DPS and also on pulling the heat off Baud.
If we all get together, I'll tank. I'm not spec'ed prot, but the pally can still tank very well as long as we don't go on raids. Which we can't. So tanking won't be an issue.

IB can hold his own as well as far as pulling aggro. Trans should still be able to tank to a degree, just not full force. If Trans pulls aggro, we can prolly burn them down fast enough so that he won't die. You just have to let me do some damage to them and you stay still and do nothing, then they will all come back to me because I will be the biggest threat.

When me and IB duo, they always come after me. He almost never pulls aggro. My paladin just pulls way too much.
Does anyone who's played a warrior know where/when to get the berserker stance?
So, I have a question. Once I hit 60 (which is still quite some time away), should I stop there for a bit and try to eke out as much of the endgame stuff from the classic content as possible, or should I run right out and get burning crusade then lich king and just burn my way through straight to 80?
i'd burn straight to 80

"D3 making you miss SWTOR? Well that's an odd statement. If your looking for a long single player game loaded with voice overs then SWTOR will tickle your fancy, D3 is "okay" at best. I mean it's good for what it is, but it's…"

"I think I'm burning out on D3. It's going to be a push just to finish it on normal. I'm towards the end of Act 3 I believe. It's just so monotonous. Story is fucking great, I'll give it that. But I'm not much of a story…"

"lmao That sucks dude, but actually works to my benefit. If you came on singing it's praises, it probably would have pushed me off the fence on it. "
