My Gamertag is a little word play on the album Pure Rock Fury by Clutch, which is my favorite band. I'm a drummer of 20+ years. I've toured, played in front of thousands of people at once, shared the stage with great bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Shadows Fall, God Forbid, and Hatebreed, and recorded a rock album alongside Kevin Murphy from Tonic. I've spent tons of time in the studio and have two full length albums and many singles to my credit. Currently I play in various cover bands around the St. Louis area, usually playing out 2-4 times per month.
I am a former journalist, and as the eventual EIC of a nationally circulated videogame publication I spent four years writing about games and working closely with game developers and their PR departments. I got to travel all over, and even spent a few days in London, which was a trip I will never forget. Unfortunately our magazine was sold in 2004, after which it moved out of state and eventually was shut down. I miss working in the industry and hope to someday get back into it in some capacity.
I have played videogames since I first got an Atari 2600 as a kid on my birthday. I still play almost every day. I don't have a favorite game or a favorite genre. I love any type of game if it's fun and well produced. I'm not the best FPS multiplayer, but I will run headlong onto a battlefield and enjoy every second of my impending virtual death.

As for yer collected donations, just print out that mail-in form from your Extra Life page. I wrote my name on it, but I also wrote my team name on it just to be sure.

Dude...i wanted to tell you...2 weeks ago we had a friend in town and we did the endless setlist for rockband2. we started at noon on a saturday (did it on medium guitar and bass) we had 4 people and we did it in 1 hour shifts. The wife and i both got the bladder of steel achievement and now we want to do bass and drums on hard. got done around 6:15pm and was hammered!! I think the ass-munching happened soon after that!
