A message for all who hated the first assasins creed....

well first and foremost fuck you. now having said that the first game was repetitive, yeah i can admit it, but i loved it. i have to say im super impressed by all the additions to the new one. The story is sick, it in the few hours i have played, it has trounced the first one. Ezio is much more vocal, think tommy vercitti versus the donkey from gta 3. the story and the lively character are only part of the depth that this game has added. Im still young in the game but the missions seem to be more lively than the go kill this guy missions (although if you dont like that i dont know what to tell you). In the first few hours you start as a regular guy and eventually find your fathers assasins garb and are off on a headstrong mission. Dont want to give any spoilers here but its not an atypical storyline. The animus story is still there but i have only seen the first chaper of that so far. If you kinda liked the first game i implore you to give this one a shot its soooo much better than the first!

Well I'll just go ahead and say this...Assassins Creed was meant to be a trilogy since day one they planned on making more then one game. It wasnt just one of those "Hey ppl liked and hated this game at the same time lets makes another and maybe they'll just love it." If we are lucky this game will end up like MGS4. Prequel after sequel, sequel after prequel, leaving us wanting more and wondering "what the hell, I wasnt doesnt playing" So far in my opinion2 these games have done this so far, with the first installments. And yes I did beat the game, I beat it before I even read this just got all the trophies today...yay me

What about the long winded speaches given by the victims of your assassinations right after you stick a balde in their ear? Do they still do those? I found those kind of annoying in the first game. You shank a guy and then he goes on to give a 7 minute Shakespear saliloque while looking off a balcony.

Haha, Destructoid gave AC2 a 4.5 out of 10. Though I think they're by far the lowest score the game's got. They're the lowest score on Metacritic, and the next lowest is an 8/10.

um, no sir Zoid, I think uncharted 2 is the most deserving for GOTY. MW2 isnt that great of a game, sure MW2 will probably win just because of its sales alone. I'll give GOTY to AC3 when it comes because honestly this is only a chapter in the series. Now, if they make a special edition that includes all the games on one disc that connects them.You know what im trying to say? but all I ask is that this game doesn't end up like the Saw films. I really enjoyed the 1 film all others sucked to me. I know this is only a trilogy but hey you never know...

I still have AC2 untouched in my game library. I think the reason I haven't played it yet is because I don't want to open another can of worms right now. Uncharted 2, L4D2 and MW2 are keeping me very busy and I will eventually get to AC2.

I wouldn't say that it's even a contender for GOTY. Don't get me wrong this is a great game ,Better story ,and better gameplay. I think it lacks in something, I can't quite put my finger on it. I will say this If your looking for a game that you can enjoy form beginnning to end then this is it. buy, rent or borrow from a friends you have to play this game.
