A New Day
I just logged in to the site this morning and read Zoid's reviews that he posted in the blog section. It got me thinking about something that's been on my mind for a while now. Zoid obviously posted these reviews because the ones he sent me haven't been put up in the reviews section. Simply put: my fault. This ties in to what I've been thinking about though.
Over the past several months, I've realized that a lot of the small issues we have around here (timely updates, etc) boil down to just that: my fault. It's no secret that I'm not very good at running this place. I have certain strenghts, but punctuality and consistency aren't it. I think perhaps it's time we considered new management.
I first started considering this when I downgraded my main account and created the DDTM Admin account for site management purposes. Now that we have that, it's a simple matter for anyone with the login info to do what needs to be done around here. The question is: does anyone want the job? I'm not sure if anyone even does, really.
If it comes down to it, I'm perfectly happy to just switch to posting reviews as blogs as well as any other content. As much as it saddens me to admit it, I just don't have the time or motivation to keep things up around here anymore and as such it's time I stepped down. I could always still operate at partial capacity and be helpful occasionally, but in all honesty isn't that what I've been doing for the last several months anyway? I don't want to leave the site and I don't want the site to disappear. I just no longer want the responsibility for this place to be squarely on my disgusting fatbody shoulders. I'm ready to pass the torch.
So, we come back to the big question: who wants the job? It's a thankless task and you'll work for free, but if you've got the skills and motivation to run with it, it can be very rewarding. I know in my heyday of actively updating and maintaining this place, it was a joy to do. So, on to the comments section. Discuss, nominate yourself, or whatever. Just know that while I'm asking to be relieved of duty, I'm not going anywhere. This place is my home, and you people are basically family to me. I'm looking forward to continuing with DDTM in a less authoritarian capacity if all of you see fit to allow me to pass the job on.

@ Chegs: lol Yeah, that's the best I could think up real quick, but it's mild compared to the other shit we listed. I tried to invent something off the top of my head, but I bet Rune shook his head at it's lameness and called me "amateur" under his breath.

@ Travs: I can't help but notice a lack of denial from Rune. A mild attempt of deflecting, but nothing else. I think it's safe to say it's all true. He's probably relieved we didn't list the real bad shit he partakes in. Stuff that doesn't even have a name yet that he has invented. Like putting the balls in his mouth and holding the erect penis beside his face upwards and calling it the "snorkel".

Well we got a decent list of what Rune enjoys with his gentlemen friends anyways. If for nothing else, this blog was worth while and probably in the top 5 blogs in site history IMO.
