Don't Drink the Milk

What games if any are you going to ask for someone to get you for Christmas?

Since I'm currently IV'ed back up on the WoWs, I have no intention of buying myself any xbox games for awhile. Having said that, it doesn't mean there aren't ones coming out that I want.

"Jesus was born and so I get presents.
Thank you, Jesus for being born."

I plan to ask for the following:
Fallout New Vegas
Fable 3 (I mildly enjoyed the last one. Meh, it's free as a gift.)

I may add to this list if I come up with any others, but that's all I could think of off the top of my head. Must be a shitty holiday season release this year.

Don't Drink the Milk presents:

Trans, the Family Man

Fable 2 Narrator: And thus the hero was married. Bliggity blah blah blah. I never shut up and I sound like Judy Dench with throat cancer.

Trans: Let's fuck!!!

Fable 2 Narrator: And the hero had a child. Blah blah voicing this game is helping pay for my laryngectomy blah blah.

Trans: Well, see you honey I'm going to do some adventuring.

*leaves for in game equivalent of 10 years, then returns to town forgetting about family*

Wife: Where have you been? Blah blah blah divorce blah blah.

Trans: Ok, see you, bitch, I already got my achievements out of your sorry ass.

Thus ends this episode of Trans, the Family Man.

Oh and I heard something about a place in the first game where Lynch opens fire on some civilians, and if you play as lynch during that part in coop the civilians appear as cops to you. Sounds like they're trying some cool things with the series, but it seems like it never turns out as good as they want it to.

Yeah, never know. You might like it. Haven't heard much about the MP. I'm just not interested because I didn't play the first one, and the negative things I heard about the second really reinforce that in my mind. Story of the first sounded interesting though.

I went into the first K&L with extremely low expectations. Everyone on GS was bagging on it. I finally picked it up new for 10 bucks and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't epic mind you, but it wasn't near as bad as everyone made it out to be. The MP with the Milk Men was greatness. Zoid's back stabbing ass was golden. I love the fact you never knew if we were going to help each other, or fuck each other over. The tension between completing the map and keeping a close eye on you fuckers was greatness. It's because of these good times I considered buying the second one.

Dunno, you might want to do your own research on K&L2 to decide for yourself, but what I heard is that it's 4 hours long (at most) and the ending is completely stupid. Basically it sounds like they ran out of time 4 hours into the campaign and slapped what they had onto a disc without a real climax or ending to the game.

I'm somewhat interested in Fable 3. Honestly, it came out of nowhere for me, so maybe I'll enjoy it since I really don't have any expectations. As far as Kinect goes, I don't think it supports it. I know Molyneux talked about it (what doesn't he talk about?) but this close to the Kinect launch I'd think if Fable 3 supported it MS would be talking Fable 3 up as a Kinect game in all their ads. Though I think the initial concept for Fable 3 with regards to Kinect was just using Kinect as a shortcut for emotes anyway instead of having to hit the bumper.

@ Zoid: Put me down for one of those miracles too.

If Fable is Kinetic, then I'll pass. New Vegas is a must, but I can wait for it. It something that can sit and I'll know I have it waiting when I return to the box. SWTFU2 is a mild interest.

@ Trans: If K&L SP is only 4 hours, then I'll probably pass. MP was good on the first one, but I doubt many people I know will buy it. We had a lot of fun on the first one, but I don't think I would play MP with strangers on it. That's more of a Milk Men game to me.

Kane and Lynch 2 campaign = 4 hours long. At least from what I heard.

If I'm getting stuff for free, I'll probably ask for Rock Band 3, Dead Rising 2, and maybe Fallout: New Vegas? Dunno, those would likely just be more to go onto the pile I'm ignoring for WoW though. There's not much I want coming out before Christmas, and most of the stuff I wanted that was coming this holiday season has been pushed to early 2011.

I forgot about Kane and Lynch 2. Might ask for that one.
