Donovan is a Redskin. Seriously. this was my reaction on suday night when i got a text from a friend that said "McNabb is a Redskin". "Hahahaha whatever dick" was my response. "No dude im Dead Fucking Serious!" Annoyed I grabbed the remote and put it on ESPN and saw the story scrolling across the bottom. I felt sick. Here is a guy that I have loathed for the better part of the last decade. He was no longer an eagle. He was a Redskin. This is the guy that ruined my first trip to Fed-Ex field. We were going to win. Nope, ole (well young at the time) McNabb fucked us in the closing seconds. So Im at a crossroads with this guy at the moment. but im not walking down ra ra boulevard until I see what happens. I still remember all the wins he stole from us. But if McNabb could win a superbowl for DC well sir all that hate goes away. Plus that would be amazing to dangle over Lombardi trophy-less Philly.

I still have my Bulls jersey with Jordan on it that I got when I was 12. It has the No. 23 not that stupid No. 45 he wore for a few games. I will never get a Raptors jersey bacause the team name is dumb (thanks Jurasic Park) and they will never have a franchise player that will stick around. Nobody wants to play basketball in Canada.

one of my friends said i was a douche because i bought the ovie jersey. I said, well sir in 2 years i can still wear mine. He bought the semin jersey. I do love Alex Semin but we all know we cant afford to keep him here forever.

In this day and age buying a jersey with a name on it is useless. Especially in the NFL with the rate players change teams. There are exceptions of course and Ovie is definitely one of them. He has the the 10 year deal, he is the Captain and the face of the franchise........dare I say it....the face of hockey in the US. I went to a Caps/Leafs game in the fall and there were more kids at that game with Ovie jerseys than any other Leaf player. I went to the Leafs/Bruins game last saturday and I had to laugh at some of the morons that had a Leafs jersey with short term players that no longer play for the Leafs. Eric Lindros, Jason Blake, Pavel Kubina, Darcey Tucker, Shayne Corson and pile of other ones with less than 5 years with the Leafs. My Leafs jersey is blank much like their performance the last 5 years.

yeah luda thats why even though initially im pissed, if it turns out to be good i will sing a different tune. I will not buy a McNabb Jersey though. I Have bought way to many short timer jerseys that now are uselesss.

I hated Curtis Joseph when he played for the Blues and caused my Leafs fits in the playoffs. I hated Eddie Belfour when he played for the Hawks and caused my Leafs fits in the Playoffs as well. Both of those golies played for the Leafs later in their career and are now some of my favorites. They took the Leafs deep into the playoffs and had Leafs Nation standing on their feet in excitement. Check back half way through the season when Jbitts is posting pictures of the new McNabb jersey he bought. When McNabb starts contributing to winning, you will see things differently.

colossus switched for a short time. That was one of the few pics I found of him in his Acolyte scrubs. I want to say it was late 90's. He eventually switched back and sacrificed himself to make a cure for the legacy virus to cure his sister Ilyanna(spelling?). I stopped reading not too long after. But I understand, as all comic heroes go, that he is now alive again.
