@ Wiggles: Yeah, my wife down loaded the Kindle app to our ipad and is now e-reading herself.
@ Bitts and Luda: My wife tried that shit in the beginning too. I go to bed when I want, and it's extremely rare that it is the same time as her. But now if it does work out that way, I'm web surfing or gaming or reading this thing. The other night I was watching stand up on the Amazon Netflix service thing.
I'm a couple weeks of usage and still loving this thing. No complaints at all. Would not only recommend to everyone, but will most likely buy a second one for my wife by the end of the year.

@Bitts - I established within the first few weeks of meeting my wife that she is not to tell me when to go to bed. It is retarded that women have that expectation. After all I'm an adult and I don't ever ask her to stay up with me until I'm ready to go to bed. My body's internal clock doesn't start to shut down until 12-2 am. My wife is in bed by 10.

I have one as well. Love it. It's helps my marriage oddly enough. The wife would get mad that I would not come to bed with her every night (women go to bed way too early) now I can (most nights) read my star wars books in bed without the light on and it's like I came to bed with her. Loophole FTW. Of course I still stay up 3 nights a week to game..... Also if you have an iOS device you can download the Kindle App and it will sync with your device and you can pick up on your iPhone/pod/pad where you left off on the fire. It's great for being at work. I can zone out and read a couple chapters and noone is the wiser!

I meant to say that Amazon Prime DOES sound like a cool service and the $79/year is a good price point. Prime isn't an option on Amazon.ca so it doesn't look like it is fully available in Canada. Gay.
