Remebering a Milky 2009
**This is going to be long, buckle up!**
As quickly as 2009 came in, it's over and here comes 2010!
Just figured I'd use this as a way to reflect on the passing year. I'm not going to go into my personal life or anything, I'm just going to reflect on dontdrinkthemilk in 2009, through my eyes.
I invite you all to add comments discussing what the year brought you and how you saw dontdrinkthemilk in 2009.

If I'm to go into enough detail about this year, I'm going to have to go all the way back to the beginning, which in this case is mid-late 2008. We( well maybe not all of us at this point but all of us would eventually be) were on a different site. The site name has been banished due to it ending in epic fail, but for anyone who wants to know what it is click here. Anyway, I barely even knew any of you. I definitely didn't like most of you. At this point, you all were just blank faces hundreds of miles away that happened to frequent the same site I did.
Time passed though, did things get better? Ha, fat chance. Something amazing happened though! :
See my name up at the top? Ooh ooh! There's rabbs too, and zoid, hmm.. Trans is up there too!
Ok, at this point I was not a very popular guy. Sure sure, the "noobs" on the old site possibly looked up to me, but the "Troll Patrol" as they were called had it in for me. Which of course lead to the Troll Wars:
Rabbler, JB, and me are the only known survivors of that epic war. Boy did it get bloody!
So words were said, e-penises were shown, and not a moderator to be seen. Why's that? Because they got the boot! Bigdood went down swinging, but in the end even he couldn't keep the site from going to the trolls.
At this point we had all already moved on though. I somehow got IrishBrewed's approval and joined you all on dontdrinkthemilk.net. I tried to thank him, but I could never get that message sent because I never got through the "redirecting... please wait" mark of death.
But there they were! IrishBrewed(IB), RROD, and LordRune; running their own site. Despite the host being a piece of crap, we were all happy there. No trolls, people finally starting to get along. Times were definitely changing. 09 was here and it was looking good!
I eventually became a mod on ddtm.net, and considered it my new home.
Some said it couldn't be done, but somehow on the Milk it actually happened. Friends on the internet actually met in person. I didn't go personally, but from what we all heard about it, it was a helluva good time!
One day Trans messaged me and asked about doing a podcast. Now I had done something like this before on the other site but all it was was me talking to myself for 15 minutes looking and sounding like a jackass. This time however, it was going to be done differently! Spoiled Milk was born!
What started as just Trans and me quickly became Trans, Reaper, and me. Hosted by MS Reaper. His dreams may have been a bit too high, but he was a good host I'll give that to him!
Sure enough, Zoid eventually crashed it and stole the show week in and week out. Well, when we could actually understand what he was saying that is. He had some mic problems, lay off!
At about the same time, an epidemic was spreading faster than you can say "oink oink"! We thought we were safe. We said it couldn't possibly happen to one of us! We were wrong. We lost two good men to that f*ckin thing! Yes, I'm talking about the WoW Epidemic!
We lost RROD and IrishBrewed to that thing. They still came around, but it just was never the same! *tear*
Well things were running smooth in real life, but the same could not be said for the site. It would constantly crash, go up in flames, and it's rumored it even blew up Cube's computer! Things needed to change. We needed a hero. Someone to pick us up when we were down! Someone like LordRune!
So yeah, good ol' LordRune (Jason Woods) became the creator of dontdrinkthemilk.ning.com. Rolls right off the tongue right? OH YEAH! I joined with high hopes on August 7, 2009.
This site had it all: blogs, videos, pics, cool profile themes, a CHAT ROOM!!!111, and even groups.
Am I forgetting anything?... hmm... I don't think s-... oh wait! There's forums too! But no one cares about that!
Spoiled Milk hit the big time! Thanks to wiggles we got onto itunes and got some good reviews(sure the reviews just came from us, but I can live with it)!
The winds of change were smacking us in the face though, and these winds were very unforgiving.
I went back to college. Not a big deal, I love being at college. It won't effect Milk in anyway. All is good in the world. WRONG!!!!!11 I had virtually no time for Milk anymore. But I did get some relief from Zoid's zombie blog while dying of boredom in a boring Computer Science class. Thank Zoid!

Yeah, so that died. Bummer... it was good times!
Months passed, milk was rarely visited by me. My 360 was played even less than that. College is hard! One day though, I turn on my 360 and it dies. RROD! No, not the texan.. he was too busy playing WoW. I'm talking about the hardware failure itself. Killed my 360. Who did I turn too? I turned to the milk. Started visiting a bit more just because I really missed you guys.
FINALS WEEK- Worst week of my life. 3.45 gpa though. Yeah, I'm just that f'in good!
No DDTM though, but not too worry, I'm going on break next week and it'll be just like old times!
Wrong again!.. wow I suck...
Where did everyone go!? Milk doesn't seem to have the traffic it once did. That is not a good thing, and needs to change. Pronto!
PRESENT: All right, back to reality. I've been writing this blog for almost an hour now and I don't think there's much more to reflect on. I want to personally thank each and every one of you for helping me get through a few tough times in real life this year. THANKS!!!
