Wanting to start a Blog
Some of you may or may not know this, but i have been playing drums since i was 15 and its my one true love in life.
there is nothing more exhilarating than performing in front of large crowds.
you can attribute my presence on this site to it. I met Wiggles in college playing music.
i am currently biding my time at this job to pay off my vehicle then i will be moving to Minneapolis Minn. to audition for a Music School that has graduated some Grammy winning Musicians.
all that stated, ill get to the point.
i have had a personal goal for some to learn EVERY song from the band that has influenced me the most Led Zeppelin.
i now own an MP3 player that is loaded with every album of thiers and i am ready to get started.
but i have an idea of wanting to start a blog about this journey of learning over 80 songs and posting about my progress, whats next, and the struggles i hit along the way, Possibly some videos if i can find/borrow a nice camcorder.
but i know wiggles has a blog, and i was wanting some info for easy places to host them, or ones that will support alot of info Ect.

Wordpress is nice for the fact that you can get a free one and still retain some pretty cool tools. Ease of use is there too. Blogger or Blogspot is nice because you can just login with your google ID as they aquired them awhile back. I've been thinking about going to wordpress but I still like my setup with my website Ryanfairchild.me and just having an rss feed from Blogger aggregate to my site. With you having a hackintosh you could install iweb and buy some cheap hosting for about 6 bucks or less a month and have something that looks like mine. I could code my websites from scratch but I don't have the money to be doing that. Also if you get really serious about doing it you could pay about 200 bucks a year and use squarespace which kicks so much ass it's not even funny.

I don't search out blogs, but in my quest for porn, blogspot comes up a lot. Which I'm sure is the same reason why fat Travers mentioned it also.
