Flash Fans: 2012 Budweiser Official Big Game Commercial
My best friend has a buddy that plays on one of the teams featured in this commercial. The two teams were approached as if a doc was being shot on beer league hockey. Little did they know it was Budweiser shooting the game of their lives.

The fans may not even have been paid. They may have gotten a voucher for a free case of beer or something. Yeah they had models planted, but they weren't all models. If you love a sport, you don't play it for the pay. You play for the love of the game

If you have ever played rec hockey as an adult you know you play at 11 at night with nobody there. The idea was to give them a taste of what its like to experience the game at a higher level.

The fans were paid to be there yes, but as hockey fans they enjoyed the game all the same. I don't think you could feel cheesy about any of that.
